FRIDAY 6/13 - We got in today at about 11am after an exhausting flight that began at 6am EST. Luckily our hotel had a room ready for us early and we were able to get in a quick nap after lunch.
At 6pm we went over to the Boardwalk Hotel and Casino where we picked up our registration badges and saw some familiar faces.
Roselyn and Alvin Gerson were there to greet everyone as they checked in.
The dinner that followed was excellent and sitting with friends Angela and Lorraine was a pleasure. We also met some other site members, like Suzanne Martin.
After dinner was the charity benefit auction. Only a few solids in the auction, we'll see how the sale looks tomorrow!

SATURDAY 6/14 - The sale started today at 8:30am and there were a lot of solids! We took photos of many of the sellers' tables...take a look and see if there is anything you desperately need! If so, we can probably put you in touch with whomever was selling them.

Tonight at 6pm is the dinner and a talk by Jay Strongwater and a presentation by Estee Lauder representatives. We'll have photos from that event tonight.

SUNDAY 6/15 - The brunch at the Estee Lauder store in the Forum Shops was great. The store was closed off for just the Compact Collector's Club, and all the new solids were on display. The Cupid's Garden and Flower Blossom were there as were the Beyond Paradise Fantasy Flower necklace and the general distribution solids. We had seen photos of these before, but this was the first time we had seen them in person.

As a surprise, Estee Lauder also had a real showgirl there to present the Shimmering Showgirl for everyone to see! It should be available in September for $250. This solid has come a long way since the drawings we saw over a year ago.
