And I'm going to have to agree with Ron on this one. The barn is a little UGLY compared to the rest of the solid collection!! I personally think it has to do with the colour brown . . . .

Ok....I'm seeing more red than brown. I think "Crayola" called it "Indian Red" before it became Politically Incorrect...now I'm not sure what they call it.
Lisa, is it a "true red" or some sort of variation. Definitely NOT brown.

I have seen pictures of the barn- I think it is really cute- You have to try and remember that shrinking a barn from huge life size down to palm size- it may get a bit distorted in porportion. I grew up on a farm in Wisconsin and hopefully when I get my new LITTLE red barn- I will remember all the excess residue I had to shovel out of one of those and smile- thinking- I DON"T EVER HAVE TO DO THAT AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!And when I go back visiting the family farm from my sunny California home - I will remember all the fun times in the hay loft- and now I can look and smell in my curio the sweet smell of EL instead of you know what!! I can't wait to get my barn!!
Just lil ol me

Well, as for the colour of the little RED barn . . . . maybe one day it might TURN brown!! You can never rule that out!! But thanks for clearing that up . . . still, can't say I enjoy it personally, but obviously glad it brightens the hearts and memories for others!

Anyway, I know what you mean about shoveling that stuff and I hope the Barn doesn't turn Brown either!
