Not The Harrods Palace!

Don't worry about the dusting. Margaret does a fantastic job with wax, and I always come prepared with my blow dryer in an emergency, so we're ok there. As far as the solids go, did you click on the Lee Castle link to see the rooms? There's a positively "Made-For-Solids" glass display case that's just waiting for some of our things.
I agree with you 100%....we'd have our money back in no time, and still have plenty left over for solids!
Here's the Dust Fairy just in case you need her...she's my best friend some days.
DUST FAIRY ON VACATION AT LILIANE'S.
I'm looking at my Dust Fairy and it seems more like a "plunger" than a "duster." hmmmm...oh well, with 700 year old bathrooms, we'd need one of those, too.
A wonderful Sunday to one and all. Nancy...thanks for finding the Castle for us! Made my week!
Lilianne...Thanks for doing the math! You're incredible!

SO glad to see you back...was worried about you, too! You may certainly borrow my little Dust Fairy (she does an incredible job) just as soon as she's finished at Nancy's. Right now she's over the Atlantic (The Dust Fairy ~ not Nancy) on her way to Scotland, but just as soon as she's finished there, we can re-route her down your way, ok?
And again, good to see you back! Missed you.

I know you're out there! Miss you, too!

I've been here all the time and have been posting, too; although will have to admit that I've have been "hanging out" in the Members Gallery quite a lot.
I miss Brigitte, too!

Thanks Michele, your fairy is winging her way back but she left a little fairy dust so I can fly round my housework for the next week or so. Wasn't that nice of her. I'll keep an eye on our castle and see who outbids us
Of course if you get a title you also get a coat of arms. Wonder if we could change it. Maybe Jay Strongwater could design one for us???

Glad she could be of help to you. Right now she's resting her little wings after a cup of tea. Very sleepy from all that flying. Am sure she'll travel down Martha's way later today or tomorrow.
Isn't that Pixie Dust wonderful? You can actually see it in the sun's rays right after you finish the dusting...it's the stuff you look at and wonder..."Where the "L" did that come from?"...Then you realize it's only Pixie Dust!
Yes, we definitely need a Coat of Arms...filled with "Beautiful" Solid Perfume!

I hope that little dust fairy gets paid for Overtime!!

Husband and I being Real Estate Brokers with our own office could represent this gang of non-dusting perfume collectors and receive a percentage of the real estate commission (perhaps as much as 3% of the selling price). This could be applied to the purchase price. Liliane would have to get her pencil moving again and see if the per member contribution has reached zero?
PS: For this favor could I get next on the list for the dust fairy?

And yes, as soon as she gets her energy back and her wings in shape, our little Dust Fairy will be ready to go. Martha's first on the list, then she'll zoom over to your house. Fair? Oh...do have some tea ready. One lump of sugar for energy.
Good to hear from you, Phyllis!

Will have the tea with TWO lumps waiting upon arrival. The good fairy will need plenty of energy for my place! When job is accomplished I will put a beach chair and umbrella on the sand for her so she can take a refreshing dip in the ocean before her next assignment. I'll take her a Pinacolda while her wings are drying.
Have to keep her in good humor if we expect her to dust that huge castle.

Phyllis, is it just your own home you want the fairy to dust or are you making sure all the property on your list is tip-top for selling???
Posted 24 March 2004 - 06:44 PM
GREAT THOUGHT, NANCY.
LIKE THE IDEA. HOWEVER, SINCE WE DO MOSTLY
COMMERCIAL SALES; WAREHOUSES, OFFICE BUILDINGS, LARGE APARTMENT COMPLEXES, ETC. WOULD THINK THAT MAY BE A LITTLE MUCH TO ASK OF ONE LIL DUST FAIRY. ANY CHANCE THERE IS A FAMILY OF THEM MICHELE?

I do believe she will be winging her way to Martha's tomorrow to get her house in tip-top shape for the weekend, although am sure there will be very little for her to do. Martha...could you please press off her little wings before she leaves? Sometimes they get a little wilted, what with all the hustle and bustle a Dust Fairy has to go through. Plus, she'll be dodging those pick-up trucks on the highways if she flies too low. We don't want her to end up as a speck on a windshield!
Sadly, she's the last in a long line of Dust Fairies...we have to be very good to her.
Will let you know when she's on her way, Martha. As for Phyllis, could I sort of tag along to keep her company on the beach? You won't even know I'm there!
