Last week at the mall here I was browsing perfume because I like to see the Christmas presentations. Thierry Mugler had their new solid for Angel out to see (not on sale yet). It was beautiful. A silver color necklace and very pretty. The rep said it would be $90. Just thought I'd let any of you who might be interested know.

Hi,

Which store were you in?
We bought that solid last month at Neiman Marcus.
It is very nice. [Smile]

Hi Ann! I was at the Bon, the only store that carries Angel in my city. Isn't it a pretty necklace? I don't really buy solids any more, but I'm tempted.

Ann,
Do you have a photo you can show us of this solid?

The three stones are blue and match the blue in the perfume bottle.

Ann

You have to remember this is Idaho. Now you understand why I get my orders from Texas or Louisiana. But at least they do sell Angel at the Bon now.

I got my Angel last week and just love it.

Have you ever seen their first limited edition bottle? It's wonderful too.

Is is a really pretty solid, Angel is one of my favorite perfumes!

Did this solid also come with a refill? If so how does that work? [Confused]

Lisa:

Yes, there are refills; in fact, two of them. I assume when you use all the fragrance (perish the thought someone would use fragrance out of their solid compact) you can use a little pliers or tweezers and lift the old one out and put a fresh one in.

Also they had a gift with purchase where you got a little coffret with an Angel mini (the little laydown star one) and two other kinds of their products.

I can't use Angel, but I love it. I started my niece and my son's girl friend on it and they both love it, so I do get a "whiff" occasionally. I've been an Angel fan since it was introduced.

Hi Carolyn,

Didn't you just love the chain??

It has a nice "feel" to it. [Big Grin]

Hi Ann:

I liked the entire piece and, best of all, it didn't cost $450. I wish more companies would start producting solids like they did in the good old days. Lauder needs some competition.

Thanks for letting us know about this piece. I went shopping this week and bought one. I wiz through the cosmetics department quickly as possible, so I wouldn't have known about this solid.

I wouldn't mind having 2 of these. One kept MIB and another to wear. Hopefully, I can find a cheap empty one on ebay sometime. [Wink] Humm...maybe I should do that with the Fantasy Flower also. Cheap samples anyone?
