Las Vegas is reporting that they have sold out of the first batch of Palm trees and the second batch which hasn't come in yet is already spoken for. [Eek!]

Now we can wait and see if EL cranks up the factory and makes more. [Suspicious]

One Rep. said 500 one said 1500.

What I believe happens is that if the first 500 sells then they go back and make 500 more and if that sells out then another 500. At least that is the way it appears.

That is one of the problems , there is no clear answer to your question. I don't believe that even EL knows how many they will produce. It depends on sales.
At least that is what happened to the Strongwater solids.

They will be coming to London to add a touch of the tropics to our long awaited summer. So if you all run out of Palm Trees there, we can ship you some from here!!!

Got my palm tree today! It's so cute! My box does not list the price on it. Is this how estee made all of the boxes? [Confused] I prefer to have the price listed on the box like the others so I can remember how much I paid for it! [Cool]

Mine didn't have it either. [Puzzled]

Since they first quoted the price as $150 and then charged $175 , maybe they can't make up their mind or they are going to have another price change. Like when it goes to Harrods.

Hmmmph! Hopefully they won't change their minds again and up the price when the second batch of solids is released! [Razz]

Lisa, glad you got one at last. What happened at the other conventions? They brought out the Peach for the Georgia one didn't they? Was that only on sale for a limited time too?
You can bet it'll cost a lot more in Harrods though!

Hi Nancy,

We bought our peach will before the convention in Atlanta. While in Atlanta the Neiman's there had plenty and then they reissued them some time later. You can see a little difference in the first issue and the second.

I just received my Palm Tree this afternoon and really like it. I especially like the magnetic closure. [Big Grin] [Big Grin]

What is this small difference of the first issue and the second one?

Thanks and have a nice evening, Liliane

Hi Liliane,

Mainly the color variation. The second issue was darker and the blending from one color to the other was not as subtle. It was kind of blotchy.
The one on the data base looks like the second issue but hard to tell without seeing it up close and personal.
