Alison...you put 2 L's in my name. Now I'm really, truly confused. Who am I? [Eek!] You have one L, I have 2 L's...or do you have 2 L's and I have one "L"? Oh Lord.... [Puzzled]

What to do.... [Confused]

Regardless, I am so glad this whole thing has been straightened out. [Smile] You had me worried there for a while, Allison/Alison!

Aha - just as I suspected, Ann. Now we're talking about Rhonda, Gilly and Edette (that's the best I could do with Edward [New Laugh] ).

Must go have some pizza...it's been a long time.

Michele,

as far as I know the counter manager at Harrods IS Allison but I must admit I'm still confused about our member Alison.

Alison,

are you from Harrods or from another Est»e Lauder Perfume store??

Please be so kind as to wind up this mistery.

Please bear with me for being so dull of comprehension. [Confused] [Confused] [Confused]

No mystery in the name,
My niece's spelt the same!
And Jacky with a 'Y'
Doesn't mean that I'm a Guy! [Confused]
So, if you want your Teddy
Just be careful what you say.....
What the 'L' does one 'L' matter
When it's 'EL' any way!

Now I hope this little verse
Will explain the facts as is,
As it really is quite funny
Watching you all in a Tiz....
Now Tiz is short for Tizzy,
Yes, two 'Z's an 'I' and 'Y'
So spell it 'As You Like It'
William Shakespear.........
'e'....goodbye!

Jacky - That was wonderful! And so true. I guess my big problem was that I was afraid someone was impersonating the "real" Allison and might get her in trouble. Thankfully, that isn't the case.

Can't wait to see the boot(s)...and the bodice solid...another headless solid like the Tutu? [Eek!]

Brigitte - much as I know you like the enamels, I do hope there are some sparklies on these! [Wink]

Hello Alison, (it is great to see you here!) [Big Grin]
Please would you put me down for a corset!
Always wanted a smaller waistline [New Laugh] [New Laugh]

Bye for now

Excellent ditty, Jacky - well done - yes, what the "L" does it matter? I'm sure Alison knows how to spell her name . . . . but also understand the confusion that may have taken place . . . Alison did mention on behalf of EL at Harrods that she would call etc. etc., so I thought she was one and the same.

ANYWAY, for those who care or took note, today I am crying today because we lost to the Poms in extra time on Saturday night in a GREAT game of Rugby. [Cry] [Cry] [Cry]

(However, I must mention that whilst they won over here, our Aussie League Team won over there in a whitewash . . . )

Hats off to the Pommies for a game well played!! [New Laugh] [New Laugh] [New Laugh]

Hi Maggie,

Here are the pictures you requested.

user posted image

This is a bracelet and the center oval with corset opens for the solid perfume. (Sorry for the photo, it is sealed in its plastic package.)

The case is gold with black ring - the top is clear plastic and is hinged to open like a compact.

Ann:

Noticed the pic of your Gaultier solid bracelet...Lovely....
I have the same one and I was wondering what you think it might be worth? [Confused] As you may know, I have been selling off my entire collection of solids and powders and I happen to have a few pieces that are NOT from lauder....not sure what the market could bring me for it...mint in cylinder, never used, etc....any thoughts from someone with experience like yourself??
Many thanks for your time..

Warm Regards,
Pamela [Smile]

Hi Ann,

I have this same bracelet. [Big Grin] I bought it 2 yrs ago on ebay. Unfortunately, the seller wrapped it poorly and the plastic case cracked. [Cry] Need to get a replacement someday.

It has to be worth $45 of anyone's money!
We are so deprived here in the UK!
Hope you all feel sorry for me [New Laugh]
Best wishes

Maggie,

DEPRIVED IN THE U.K.!!!!!!!!!!!?

I don't think so! We have lots of solids, and lots of everything.

'Maybe it's because I'm a Londoner that.....'

Think about your Solid Collection. That will cheer you up!

I do know you were joking!
