[Eek!] Oh no! Just when I thought I was going to buy less! The compacts are great this year...better than a good many of the solids [Silly]

Hi Folks!
The harddrive on my new computer died a couple of weeks ago. E Machines sent the new part right away, but I was waiting for my brother to install it. So now i'm trying to catch up on all new posts you guys have left. I see we have some new members. Thats great. Welcome to the EL Solids website.
Thanks for all the great photos on the new powder compacts! I love the blue compact with the tassel (compact #3) and the Fleur-de-Lis compact. Some of the compacts look like ones I've seen on E-Bay. Like the Pink Ribbon Compact for 2003 and compact #5 (pink??).

Compact #4 looks like a repeat also.
Those two , if the same were offered in 1998.

Ann and Ken,
I'm interested in purchasing the France Fleur-de-Lis and the Mexican Mosaic Tile. Do you know when the SAKS 2003 powder compacts will be availabe in their stores? Is Amy from the SAKS Boca Raton store the person to contact?

Thanks for your help,
Barb

Barb,

The compacts should be in the stores soon, I don't have an exact date.

Yes, call Amy and tell her Lisa from solidperfume sent you and she should take care of you. [Wink] You can also call Saks in your area if you have one. I am not sure about how the tax thing works so make sure to ask and also check on the shipping.

Hi Lisa,
I contacted Amy at the Boca Raton Saks. She was very nice. [Wink] [Wink] I ordered Jay Strongwaters Sunflower solid. [Cool] [Cool] I also told her I was interested in getting the France Fleur-de-Lis and Mexican Mosaic Tile compacts. Amy didn't know anything about them but said she will contact me as soon as she has any info.

Thanks for the contact, Barb

Yes, that is always the case, that the sales associates don't know what's coming out. Lauder should send them all here to find out what is going on. [New Laugh] [New Laugh] [New Laugh]

The gold and the pink are repeaters. Unless the colors are just a little different.

The gold one was called Colorado and the pink one was called Pink. They were out in 1998/99 I believe.
