Iron ? did you say iron??? [New Laugh]

White buffalos are very rare and lots of stories and myths among the native americans.

I remember a movie that was about a white buffalo but all I can remember was they had to spray paint a buffalo white for the movie and he got sick and the animal rights folks did a protest.

Hi Maggie,

ROFLOL means - rolling on floor laughing out loud.
IMHO means - in my humble opinion.

I use the slang because of my bad spelling. [Big Grin]

The little icons that Lisa & Jack provide help a whole lot to express emotion that is hard to do with the computer. [Big Grin] [Wink] [Smile]

I don't use the little icons when doing a private message because it depends on the receiving computer whether you get it or not so I use the old fashion LOL, ROFLOL , IMHO, ;-) etc.

Thanks Maggie for asking the question and everyone for the answers. I have been too embarrassed to say that I didn't have "a clue" as to what these meant!! [Confused] [Confused]

Now I can start using them to embellish MY postings!!

LOL, LOLROTF, BGBTL, [New Laugh] etc.

Cheers,
Mimi

I knew the expression LOL but I must admit that I always thought it means laugh over laugh.
I learnt something new today and also that it's better to ask before making my own opinion about an abbreviation.

The reason I use the LOL and other such things is because I don't know how to get an icon into a message. Maybe I'll try that next week too.

I've been thinking about other solids I'd like to see Estee Lauder design:

- A llama
- An outside bar-b-que - maybe with a big steak on the grill
- An old fort like the ones we used to see in the old movies. An American flag flying would be neat on it.
- The White House
- They could do a whole series on the hibiscus flowers as they come in a rainbow of colors.

Then I would like to see a series of cars, i.e. hot rods, classic cars, sports cars, foreign cars, etc.
Also a series on motorcycles would be great. Example, sports bikes, choppers, Harleys, vintage British bikes. My hubby would think solids were the greatest thing if they are the car and motorcycle series. He loved the Harrods delivery van which I wasn't going to get until friend Ann convinced me I needed one.

Well they do say you learn something new every day! [Big Grin]
I found that very funny and was LOL [Wink]
In the Uk most people don't LOL, well not much anyway, we are to WTR (way too reserved!)
Best go before I start ROTFLOL [Silly]
The only one I know is TTFN
a good old British saying TA TA for now!

Hi Carolyn,

Good idea to get husbands interested. [Big Grin]
A sports theme. [Big Grin] [Big Grin]

Ken and our daughter(Lisa) both play golf so that can go both ways. They did a golf charm so someone at EL likes golf.

Baseball, football etc.( as long as they don't do a player with a face). [New Laugh] [New Laugh]

And having more flowers that match the Beyond Paradise in different colors.

El use to have a contest amoung SAs to suggest ideas. If they used their idea they got a free solid. I think they need to have one with the solid collectors. [Big Grin] [Big Grin]

Ann
