What do you think next years solids will be??

I have already heard of a riverboat and possibly Big Ben so those don't count.
1. powder compact with mirror and puff stones covering the outside.
2. lipstick (still) like the classic Lauder lipstick case with a red stone lipstick.

The lipstick and powder puff I can see JL or KB doing. I think there is purse done by one of them in the shape of a lipstick.
Not knowing if they are going to keep on with the current themes(circus) or starting something new it's hard to guess. And the western theme, what are they going to do with that??? It is for the NM because they are based in Dallas.
Jay Strongwater may not be back next year so can't guess if he will still be doing his "outdoor" theme.
This may take some thought.

2) GD: popular dog breed such as Golden Retriever (although I wish for a Greyhound)
Wish list: It would be interesting if Lauder made a charm bracelet solid. You buy a Lauder bracelet. Charms have perfume solid inside and sold separately. There could be all kinds of fun varieties to choose from--such as themes and looks (goldtone/silver/enamel) **Bracelets made in 3 sizes 6", 7" + 8". I have trouble finding stuff to fit my little girl sized wrists ....finding rings to fit my pinky are even worse!

EL did a zodiac charm bracelet and a solid charm one would be great. Since EL is not going to be putting much solid perfume in the new solids they could make them small.
A greyhound standing beside the parasol on her trip to paris gets my vote in the doggie catagory.

Guess I'll have to start looking for a JOB where the most intelligent thing I'll have to say is: "Do you want fries with that 'shake?"

By the time we really get them(new solids) they are old news.

The charms wouldn't have any perfume in them though, they would just be replicas of the solids.
The choice of braclet would be gold (14k) or silver and the charms made out of gold with dimonds and precious stones, exact replicas.

But charms that look like the solids we have already might work.

1. a siamese cat with a kitten or any cat
2. a jeweled heart
3. a jeweled butterfly or fish
The solids charm bracelet sounds great. I made myself a 14K gold charm bracelet with all the EL charms I could find. I really love it.
This is a great topic, Lisa. And BTW, the shoe photo is gorgeous!

For the monument series, I would vote for Mount Rushmore
In the animal department, I would love a doberman, a buffalo, an appaloosa, or an eagle.
Since I also collect miniature clocks, I would like one of these. They did a compact with a little clock in it, but I want a jeweled one that that is just a clock without the gold bordering.
A series on small kitchen appliances would be cute with a mixer, a coffee maker, etc.

Would love to see them do a buffalo.
Did you see the albino buffalo born in S.dakota??
It is the second one for them .
Which ever designer , JL or KB they go with, could do a beautiful jeweled clock.
We have been buying the Strongwater clocks but they can get kind of pricey.
What are kitchen appliances??

Kitchen appliances are something you and I don't use often. LOL We could also add an iron to that list.
Haven't seen the white buffalo you mention, but I remember years ago there was a movie that had a white buffalo in it. Don't remember the name of the movie. They are very rare.
There are severral ranches close by that grow buffalo. They sell them to fancy restaurants back east.
