Dear Lisa the only harrods solid perfume bear to have a name was the 1st one .He was named Rodney after one of the Harrods doormen that sadly passed away the previous year.Chumney

The Rodney bear has a vest and dressed like the beloved doorman . He came out in 2000. The green jacket bear 2001 was named at first by mistake in the ads as Rodney but they later changed it.

The 2002 sweater bear is named Giles.

These are the names on the tags.

Another reminder to look at the tabs above. [Big Grin]

KK has posted some great photos of the palm tree under Members Photos. [Big Grin]

Didn't think about using the turtle. Great idea.
Off the change my tree scene. [New Laugh]

Hi, I have a question for all the British collectors on this site. I have a friend going to London, England next week. She has offered to go to Harrod's for me to pick up any solids I don't have. Can anyone tell me what currently is available at the Harrod's in London? I sure WISH the 2003 solids were in!!

Will be going to Harrods on Saturday. If no-one else, has written it up, will do so this week-end.

Have more solids to mention on the site that they will be stocking but feel too much at once is a bit overwhelming.

WATCH THIS SPACE! [Eek!] [Eek!] [Eek!]

HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY! [Smile]

Carol,

I think they have 1 or 2 palaces left or they did when Jack was there last week.

Hello everybody !

Just a thought on the prices for Shimmering Oasis aka Palm Tree, Showgirl & Rollercoaster at Harrods ... (first post in this line):

Did anybody ever convert the to $ ? You would have to pay
$258 for the Oasis = exorbitant
$450 for the Showgirl = probably way too much
$475 for the Rollercoaster = acceptable

Information for Carol:
The Harrods Palace costs 350 which equals to $584 (today's exchange rate). It is not $350 ! The same is with Delivery Van: 140 = $233

Please correct me if I missed something.

Warm regards,
Astrid

Thank you Ann and Mimi.
I appreciate your comments on my photos. I always have fun playing with the solids.
Ann & Ken you really do inspire me to play. Thank you for that.
Bye,
