Fabulous! I like RED!
I hope the bear series can go on every year with the Year printed like that to make me remember. They are also very nice to put together side by side.

Lovely little ted! [Silly]
Not sure if he looks like he's had a lot of festive food or if it's his thick jacket!
Puddington bear? hmmmmm [Puzzled] [New Laugh]

Annette,

Yes, they are taking orders now. The web site for Harrods is:
Harrods
The phone # is: 011442077031234

I would phone over with your credit card information as sending it through email is not secure. Also check to see if your credit card # given is good through the end of the year. Last year I called and left my credit card # not realizing that it expired within a couple of months so by the time the solids were in my credit card had expired which caused all kinds of problems for me.

Ask for Allison. [Big Grin]

This is a good looking bear. I wish we can order directly from the website like Neiman Marcus. Last time I waited over 2 months for delivery because they screwed up!

I haven't pre-ordered solids before. I'm afraid the sales associate will loose my info or write it incorrectly. Maybe I'm paranoid, but I have so much bad luck with people loosing important info. So, I buy solids when they come out hoping they didn't sell out on pre-orders.

How does Harrods keep your info? Do they enter it into a computer or keep sheets of paper underneath the cash register?

Good luck when ordering from Harrods.

We have been doing it for 3 years now and have never gotten them without a hassle.
Lost imformation, employee quiting, mailed double order, unimformed SA's And last year after carefully going over our order for the six time we were charged $65 duty because the paper work at Harrods was filled out wrong. We didn't recover it. And our phone bill for all this mess could have bought another solid.
Be sure you use a CC that you can have some control on canceling your order if it is not right.

We are always shipped to many so I guess we get someone elses.

If I didn't love the little critters I would not do this again.

If it is bad again this year I vote we send Lisa or Jack over to just get them.

Ann -- Who will buy anyway.

P.S.
Don't know where they keep the paperwork but then neither do they. [Puzzled]

Ann and Ken I TOTALLY agree!.
Last year they billed my Visa and 3 months later my bear never came?, so I placed a dispute with my Visa Company (what a mess!!). My visa company did what is called a "Charge Back" to Harrods until the investigation was resolved. I ended up getting my $$ back ,..However NEVER got a bear and spent several $$ in phone calls trying to get it resolved over the phone. OH BUT !! I did get the paperwork from Harrods for the credit, mailed to my home?(figure that one out?)

Just an idea...perhaps any of our friends in London would be willing to buy the bears for us and ship them to us, so we can bypass Harrod's altogether! [Razz]
