What does everyone think of the showgirl?

I was glad to see she had stones added to the casino chips and her headdress although I think she could have been so much better by adding colored emamel to the headdress feather and also enamel on her shoes!

Since she is not coming out until Sept. maybe there is time for Lauder to consider adding it.

I like it! The lower arms are a bit too thick. Also, I wished they used pink, red, purple, and/or black rhinestones in the head-dress. There doesn't seem to be enough solids with those colors. [Frown]

Seems like the poker chips should be poker chip color. [Frown] [Puzzled]

And I did remember right-- Big arms. [New Laugh]

Is that her hand around her neck? Or do both arms look the same?

And the flower-- Is that a solid or just a necklace?

The Showgirl looks much better in person - I think everyone will like it! Even "as is" [Wink]

The Showgirl is really much nicer in real life. I would have liked to see more stones on the headpiece because they are usually very "fancy and glittery" but it is such a fabulous piece, I'm happy with the updated version.

Yep!! I like her....but I too, would have liked more color in her headgear and shoes. She does have my favorite "hot pink" glove on!!

Just what I need....ANOTHER temptation!! [Cry] [Cry]

Best to everyone....

Carol , Woody or Lisa --do you remember if the flower is a solid or just a necklace??

For some reason I have it in my head that it is just a necklace. Really want it to be a solid as it looks like a good one.

The showgirl looks nice but I have to agree some shoes and a few more colours would have been nice. [Big Grin]

Maybe the gloves have slipped down and bit and need pulling up to smooth them out! [New Laugh]

Dear Lisa, thanks for the picture. I cannot see the face expression, are they OK? I remembered the Spanish Dancer do not have a good face expression. I hope this time they do it better.

Ann,

The necklace is a solid for sure, it's going to coninside with the launch of the new fragrance- beyond paradise. It is stamped Estee Lauder 2003 Beyond Paradise under the opening of the solid. [Big Grin]

I don't remember the showgirl's face being too bad, faces are a hard thing to do! [Big Grin]

The showgirl is alot better looking than before, who designed it?
I would of liked Jay Strongwater to of designed this solid becaues he uses the enamel colors. Wouldn't that of been colorful, mixed with stones.

Does anyone know what the necklace, beyond paradise is costing. [Confused] [Confused]

I think Bob Conte must have designed the showgirl because he showed her to us two years ago. At the dinner Lauder did say that "we made Bob Conte too big" whatever that means [Confused]

The cost of the necklace is $125, sure wish more of them were this pricepoint and yes, this solid is wonderful!

The general distrubition solids at $75 looked cheap, they had a sort of unfinished look to them. [Puzzled]

Would Lauder admit that Mr. Conte was no longer with them??? [Puzzled] [Puzzled]

They had better be nice to Mr. Strongwater. [Roll Eyes] [Roll Eyes] [Roll Eyes]

Wow, I am so excited about the new Stronwater store! I am suprised that we did not hear anything about it before it was done. You know like advertisement, hype to let people know about it. Thanks Lisa and Jack again so much for letting us feel like we went to the convention. I agree with you about the Showgirl. She is Pretty but could be better with hot pink enamel on shoes and in headress. Her arms do look a little large around the elbow area. Maybe it is supposed to look like the gloves are gathered at the top. [Confused]
