I think I prefer the New York Spirit to any of the US$3000 compacts! [Big Grin]
Just think of how many perfume solids that would get ! [Eek!]

Maybe the $3000 compact look better in the flesh but I too prefer my Spirit of New York! My friend collects compacts and although I'm trying not to get into it there seems to be some kind of weird gravitational pull happening!

[Puzzled] I was just wondering about the 'Beautiful to Boot' powder compact that luscious11 mentioned earlier. Is it a jeweled one in the shape of a boot or is it one of the round compacts with a picture of a boot? [Suspicious]
....just wondering [Big Grin]

I must have missed this section when it was first posted because I am just now seeing Ann & Kens picture with the Jester etc. It is great! Fee asked about the boot compact. I dont know if I have the same one that Luscious is talking about, but I have one that is round, with a background of 3 red enamel stripes with white crystals in between and a red, white a blue boot on top of this with a white crystal star on the top of the boot. The compact is called Lone Star compact. It is very pretty. It originally caught my eye because of the Texas theme. Now I can only hope to one day find the Beautiful to Boot and Cowboy Hat perfumes at a decent price. I just started collecting these things a little too late.

HI MARY AND FEE (AND EVERYONE )

MARY IS RIGHT. IT IS CALLED THE LONE STAR COMPACT AND IT IS VERY PRETTY. IT LOOKS GREAT ALONGSIDE OF THE HAT AND BOOT...I PURCHASED THE LONE STAR POWDER COMPACT YEARS AGO IN DALLAS/FT.WORTH NEIMANS.....

I feel like a kid in a toy shop! [Silly]
My trouble is I am new to this and don't know what most of them look like.
Ann and Ken can you help?
What's the difference between Lady Bug and Lucky Lady Bug? [Confused]
What is the Peace one and the Kitten? [Puzzled]
Please help.
Maggie [Big Grin]
Also Crystal Kink, Lucky Dollar and All that Jazz don't give much of an idea of description.. [Confused]

Hope this helps. We lost out #one camera and have not replaced it yet so the photos are not the best.

The kitty difference are one is enamel and one has stones. Stones cost more. [Big Grin] Same with the Lady Bugs.
Sheet shows the 4 you were asking about , peace sign etc. We only have two from that series.

The Palm Tree is the one that EL had a signing in NYC with Evelyn Lauder and Harrods had it with The Hurley girl. Will go very nice with the Palm Tree solid.
Just spoke to Micky and she will gladly look for it if you are interested in it.

I would also be interested in seeing the Bunny, Leap Frog (is that the one on the Leaf?)
and the Snail.
Any photo's would be greatly appreciated.
I can see this becoming another expensive habit!
