The Alaige Silver Metal Bottle matches the Pear Solid.

Were showing the label on the bottom of the bottles also. We buy only with the labels because Max Factor, Liz Arden, and Corday did similar bottles.

E. Arden has many of the porcelain ones.

You two are just too naughty! [New Laugh]
The porcelain ones are just stunning.
I have never seen anything like them before.
Do they sell on Ebay?
Well done you two!

Hi Maggie,

They are on ebay a lot.

If you only want the EL ones you should be able to look for them when you do your EL search for solids. [Big Grin] [Big Grin] [Big Grin]

You might have to click on a lot of just powder till you find one as some sellers just list them as powder shakers. But all the fun is in the search. [Big Grin] [Big Grin]

Wonderful Ann & Ken. Thanks a lot [Big Grin] [Big Grin] !!!

I loved the "Aliage Silver Metal Bottle" which matches the pear solid very much!!! I did not even know that it exists [Eek!] Thanks [Big Grin] [Big Grin] !!!

From the second photo I have the "Powder Flacon" on the right. I have unfortunately no label. Have you a idea, which on the label stands and which "Powder Shaker" appeared when, the first time [Confused] [Confused]

Take care,

Liliane

Hi liliane,

That powder shakers label reads "Youth Dew Dusting Powder". It is the only one that we have with a gold top instead of silver.

As far as when they were issued we have no idea but maybe we can ask the EL people at convention.
The porcelain ones appear to be the oldest. The blue one is dated 1979.

We have never found one in the retail stores only on the secondary market( ebay , flea markets and antique shops).

Ann & Ken,

Wow! Those shakers are great.
In my years of working for Lauder I have never seen or even knew of the shakers.
Thanks for the great information!

Lisa ,

How long has it been that you were first working for EL?

We thought maybe the glass ones were recent.
Think maybe EL could tell us when they came out. They have been so helpful(not) with dating the solids.
And what about the non-solid EL jewelry. Did you see any in the stores or is that "vintage".
The charm bracelet is still sold in stores but the don't know when the Zodiac came out.

Thanks a lot for the information Ann [Smile] Mine has also a gold top.

It would be very intresting to know when they were issued and it would be great if you would ask the EL people at convention, if they know something [Wink] !!!

Again, thaks a lot for your help [Big Grin] !!!

[Smile] All the best and take care [Smile] ,

Hi Liliane,

Edited the post to read that the blue porcelain was dated 1979 on the bottom.
There is a whole series of that pattern- powder bowl, candle holder, soap dish, ginger jar, etc.

The Chinoiserie pattern is not dated on the bottom. They also have lots of stuff in that pattern.

There are many more El porcelain patterns but have only seen the two powder shakers we photographed.

Hi Ann & Ken,
What a treat to see the powder shakers. My EL powder shakers are just pink plastic cylinders with Beautiful fragrance. Well, I can see the hunt is on. We can always count on you for the BEST info. [Smile]
Bye, KK [Big Grin]

I worked for Estee Lauder back in college maybe late eighties and as recent as two months ago, I have never come across the shakers.

They may have been exclusives to Saks, Nieman's or Nordstroms. [Confused]
