My answer.. I don't mind having empty compacts, although... my opinion seems to be changing... now I do want as many full compacts as possible!

The hunt is as much fun to me as having it.

As for the cost, well, sometimes you win sometimes you don't. I've given up getting so upset about how much I used to pay. The fact is, I love them, and if you enjoy something, after a while the cost becomes secondary.
Money comes and goes. I don't like regretting things I should have bought when I had the chance in the past.
That's not to say I accept what has gone on with EL solid perfumes since 2003 or thereabouts. I realize my collection has been severely devalued but I haven't collected them to make a quick buck either. I treasure them and all the friends I have made because of them.
When I look at each solid, I remember how I got it, and usually who I bought it from.

MIB for me too with the authentic perfume and not the home made stuff which does not smell the same. Even if the old perfume is worn down and brown in colour, that is fine... even the residue of perfume if possible.

Like you, that we bought because we loved them and still do so its ok now and we own a great collection that we get a lot of pleasure from We have'nt posted for a long time partially because of what happened to the prices had us depressed. We have purchased few that we did not have at a great price just lately so it is working in our favor also. Great to read your posts again.
