Thanks Brigitte.

Um, not sure if I can raise much enthusiasm for any of the 2011 compacts, perhaps they will grow on me B)

Hello all - I've been away for a while but I'm back. It seems to me they've really run out of ideas, these are copies of much older solids. Updated versions, I should say. No imagination there.

That being said, I did just purchase the 1974 Yellow butterfly pendant - YEAH! I love hunting the old ones!

Wishing all the very best,

Katita

I'm disappointed too. No imagination. It will save me money. Thanks for posting the photos!

I like the Sensuous Success. I'm just happy that there is a release this year. I know that we have all pondered if there would even be 2011 solids from EL. Does anyone know if there will be any Harrod's releases for EL this year yet?

Oh and a huge THANK YOU to Brigette, Kenn & Ann for keeping us all in the loop!!

Does Saks or NM have the actual printed brochure out yet? If anyone can get their hands on one, I would greatly, deeply appreciate it!! Let me know! Thanks!

Hi all :)

Thanks for putting these up. I have to say though I don't really like any of them, very disappointed. Hopefully Harrods will come up with something this year as well as the bear.

 Yeah, no more landmarks, instruments, or imaginative "things" . . . though the elephant is kinda cute.

Sign of the times for the future of solid perfume I think . . .

Nothing very interesting for 2011, be nice if Harrods came up with something.

Thanks for posting the pictures, always good to see them.

WooHoo!! On my way to Saks after work tonight to pick up my Happiness Pleasures (the flowers). I think it's very pretty. I bet it'll be even more dazzling in person. I've wanted a new one for so long and this satiates my appetite for a while I hope!! :) Julie

It is even cuter in person than I expected. It's petite and sweet! Love it! So happy I decided to do it.. pricey.. very pricey but worth it. In my never to be humble opinion.

They do say that during a recession car manufacturers tend to make cars in dark, dull colors so maybe in a round-about way Estee Lauder is taking the same path, nothing new or inspirational, no glitz to cheer us up. IMHO a compact to celebrate the wedding of Catherine and William would have been good, Yankie Candle produced a special celebratory jar for the occasion so I was surprised to find that Estee Lauder did not produce a 'royal celebration' compact! Ah well more money saved.............

Love
