Normally the solids come in one color and one color only. On occasion, they are released with 2 different solid perfumes; i.e., the Butterfly. One was released with White Linen in 1993. Another was released with Beautiful. Same Butterfly (blue/green.)
That said, there was another Butterfly almost identical to the 93 one...released in 1996. Same shape/body, but the color was sort of orange. Pleasures fragrance.
Perhaps there are other members with more info on the Sand Pail...I'm at a loss here. Could you possibly pm me with the Sellers User ID? Or, if allowed, post it here. (Check with Jack and/or Lisa first.)
And if you're purchasing older solids, please get yourself a copy of Roselyn Gerson's book...it's like a little Solid Bible.

I saw the green pail on ebay and thought it was odd being green, and there's also a pink one

I think the person to ask would be Bridgette.

sorry, I don't know much about this item, only that I too saw the green and also the pink one on eBay and of course bought them both. If I remember well the seller of the green one wrote something about a special event that took place somewhere in Florida and was to raise money for the pink ribbon. She told that the solids were done for this event and given as a gift to people attending. If I understood well the 2 powder compacts below also were issued for this event in 2006 and 2007.
PALM COMPACT 2006:

I got this one without any boxes.
PALM TREE COMPACT 2007:

I got this one with it's gold box but no outer white cardboard box. The white box on the pic is only in case I'd get it one day and could easily add it to the pic.
Hope this helps and in case any one of you Florida girls should know more about these special events please let me know.

This is the one that was for sale in the stores:

For the green one I don't have the outer white box:

It took me nearly an hour to find out how to make the pics clickable to enlarge tehm....but finally I did it

There is no URL to my solid perfume site as I havn't made it public because there already is Lisa's database.
Hope this helps, Brigitte

I think it's because you think of the pronunciation in English instead of French, hence the 'd' you added. Just a thought.
