Oh my gosh, has anyone seen the butterfly compact MIBB auction on ebay. The darn thing went from $202 this morning to $690 now with still 2 hours to go. Some one really wanted that one badly. So if anyone has this one hold on to it. I cant wait to see what the ending price is.

I was wondering if anyone on the site won the butterfly...

Wow - the original price was $65! It's still for sale on ebayl. Wish I had one to sell. I don't think it's that appealing.

It sold for $900. I think it is someone on the site. Someone in Germany. Perhaps she will let us know. This seller did great!! I dont think it is as pretty as some of the others either, but I have never seen it on ebay so maybe this is truly a rare one.

I have seen this one but not boxed. It is one of the rarer butterflies and I do like it!

Great that one of our collectors has purchased this and it is also good to see the older solids retaining their value!!!!

Hopefully, any new collectors will see that our older solids do have some value and will not expect everything to be sold at knock down prices.

biggrin.gif Wow !! I'm a bit GOBSMACKED at the price it fetched !!

Three cheers for the older and rarer solids ! I guess they do make a comeback if you hold them for long enough ! cool.gif

This has always been an elusive solid. A few showed up 3-4 years ago and all sold in the $1500 range. I think $900 was a good price! blink.gif

Congrats to the winner. It's fabulous!

Hi Woody - yes, I do remember that now you've brought it back to mind.

Thanks ! What a bargain . . . . blink.gif
