I have to admit I LOVE Christmas music. There is already a radio station here playing Christmas music 24 hours a day...I find myself tuning in a lot already!

I rather like the lights, as you and all other members can see on my pics.
Sorry they arn't too good, I didn't want to creat a work of art (I'd be happy if I could....but....) but just show all the lights in my flat.
Sorry, but I'm about to take some E.L. item pics in this room therefore the big floodlight that you can see in front.

Wonderful pictures Brigitte. You have created your very own fairyland.
Wanted to add my wishes to all for a very happy Thanksgiving weekend.
If I don't eat too much I might be able to get in a swim as it is predicted to be above 80 here Thursday. Snowbirds have arrived and area is very busy.
Anyone shopping on Black Friday? Best day of the year to stay at home unless you like utter chaos.

I live in the middle of England in the county of Derbyshire ( our county's are like your states only a lot smaller ) Its about two hours by train to London. I am about three miles out of the city of Derby itself in a large village called Spondon. The village itself has grown over the years ( new shops in the 70's ) but parts of it are very old and one of the local pubs was mentioned in the Doomsday book and some parts have a preservation order on them.
Its a good place to live. The people care what happens in their village and we are always consulted if our Council wants to change anything......if Spondon does not want it then it wont happen. We have good schools and Doctors and the most marvellous bus service you could wish for. We have a bus into the city centre every ten mins and it only picks up around Spondon then Flies down the bypass into Derby. Needless to say its called the Spondon Flyer..... and has won an award for the best bus service in the Country.
We are very lucky to live where we do. The weather tends to be good because we are protected by a set of hills .......Thats why we were so suprised to get snow early.
WISHING YOU ALL A VERY HAPPY HOLIDAY

Wishing you all a VERY HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
Margaret, I leave it to you to explain about the Sales etc. I don't think we have anything equivalent to a Black Friday!
