Thanks Woody for the pics. The solids are really beautiful this year. I just love the plane. Do you know who designed it and which store will be carrying it?

Deepest thanks to Woody and Phyllis for the wonderful pictures and tons of information you have shared with us. This is the time of year I get excited to find out what's going to be out for later on. Ah, the joy of solid collecting! smile.gif Its all a bit overwhelming to soak in, but most welcomed. However, by the time these solids are available in the stores I will know which ones to get, not to get, wait for Ebay listings or not buy anything. Thanks again guys.

Great photos, Woody! What camera do you use? None of these look like Jay Strongwater. Is he not doing any this year?
I think the harp is the epitome of elegance. Can't wait to get it.

Sorry. Can't take credit for photos. That was all Phyllis. She took wonderful pics! We were talking about her camera as it is an older Sony model that uses a diskette to capture the images. I have one as well and I keep using it as it takes better pics that my newer "fancy" digital camera. Sometimes "new" isn't always better! laugh.gif

There are three Jay Strongwater solids this year: The Foo Dog and the Bonsai Tree for Saks and the Gramophone for Niemans. I posted pics of these earlier.

While I'm thinking of it - who won the box that was raffled off at the convention? Just curious.

I think the Harrods Box was the biggest draw in the raffle. There were a lot of people who just thought it was a beautiful box and weren't into solids. One of the convention attendees - not a solid collector - won it and was thrilled.
