We've posted a couple of pictures to the gallery because we've been dreaming of traveling in the world. smile.gif

Margaret loves Vegas and would go there every trip. wub.gif

Don feels the same way about London. wub.gif

What is your place to go when you're just sitting and dreaming of the great cities or special places in the world? cool.gif

I would love to spend a week in a log cabin up in the mountains of Ashville, N.Carolina. Also a world cruise (but would have to sell some solids to
finance the clothes) plus a trip on the Orient Express.

Lots of other places too, but this is just the kick off! (Will be watching the
World Cup)!

Must now go and take a look at D&M's pix.

We love the country around Ashville, NC also. Prettiest country in the US we think. Dons' father grew up just about 40miles from there in Tennessee and he spent a couple of weeks every summer there, at his grandparents, when he was growing up. smile.gif

The Biltmore estate in Ashville is one of the most amazing houses built in the US and the tour of it should'nt be missed. You can go to Biltmore estate to look at it. ph34r.gif

How did an English lady end up in Ashville, Jacky?

My husband, Jim, took me on the perfect honeymoon. We flew to Vancouver, BC. It was the end of May, so everything was beautiful...flowers were starting to bloom, but still a little cool. We took the Canadian Rocky Mountaineer train ride all the way to Banff. We stayed at the Banff Springs Hotel, top floor with a spectacular view. After our stay there, we picked up a rent car and headed for Lake Louise and stayed at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise overlooking the lake. The sites were breathtaking. The Mountaineer train ride with a domed vista provided a magificent view. We both just couldn't get enough of it. That is some beautiful country up there!

THE MOST BEAUTIFUL PLACE I HAVE VISITED IS HOMER, ALASKA WITH THE BEAUTIFUL WATER, MOUNTAINS AND GLACIER AND THE MOOSE WE MET ON THE ROAD. MY HUSBAND WAS FORMERLY FROM PALMER ALASKA NEAR ANCHORAGE BUT HOMER IS REALLY" OUT OF THIS WORLD".

BY THE WAY DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT THE NEW SOLID IS AND THE PRICE? MICKY FROM ESTEE LAUDER JUST E-MAILED ME THAT SHE WILL BE SELLING IT AFTER THE ALTANTIC CITY CONVENTION, BUT INCLUDED NOTHING ABOUT IT. NANCY H rolleyes.gif

Hello D&M, I did travel with my work and was lucky to be able to visit
quite a few places in the States. I have visited the Biltmore Estate. Very impressive!

Catherine, so pleased to see you again! Your description is fantastic.

Nancy, we can guess what the next solid will be out of Vegas! We had
the Roulette Wheel, the L.Vegas Sign, and.........so I bet it is something
to do with gambling. I was in a Casino in London the other evening.

So wanna make a bet????????????????
