Margaret you are right about Dollhouses they are alot of work,
perhaps more than a regular home, but the enjoyment is worth it I think.
Not so much area to dust!
Katita Right we are all here to enjoy solids which ever ones they are!
Personally, I think the Imperial Princess looks like a man (budha) but
if one comes my way cheap, I'll jump on it!

I know what you mean the IP is my least favorite. I just can't figure out why she's the most expensive and sought after. But, it's truly fun to watch the bidding when she comes up.
I would pass on a damaged solid, too. For some reason the IP is so popular it doesn't seem to make a difference.
Katita, I love your take on life
A wonderful and relaxing weekend to ALL!
It looks like snow here but who knows it will probably blow right passed.
Do any of you know how much IP sold for in previous auctions? I ask because she is on the cover of the latest Gerson book and perhaps that made her more of a celebrity thus hiking up the price. But - maybe not - maybe this is what she has garnered in previous auctions.

It's true, I have never had a likeing for the ivories I find them very ugly especially the cats and dogs at least the IP has a certain serenity about her, and yes! if I was to find one going cheap I would leap at the chance to buy..... not to resell but to swap for other solids.
I love the way you said that we are all part of a bigger solid picture, such a nice thing to say.....
Margaret....... from a cold wet SNOWY middle England ( KK.. I think we got your snow )
GOOD LUCK TO ALL WHO ARE BIDDING

You did get our snow, Vegas Lady. It passed by again not even a drop of rain.
Topbev, if I remember correctly the bidding was over $2000. Now, you all don't hold me to that or my feet to the fire
Lisa, will know.

I like the Ivory series because they do NOT have the bling bling
Why ? They are from around 30 years ago, and that was truly another era. That's why I like them, they reflect times & tastes long gone.
@Queenie: I agree, the IP's face looks male.
