Thank you all for your wishes smile.gif and to Lisa
and Jack for this site...

NOW HERE'S A THOUGHT! Can you think of anywhere else
where you would receive CONGRATULATIONS for talking too
much??????????? wink.gif

SO this is one place where you are permitted to talk the
hind leg off a donkey (Margaret and Elly please let me know
if I have written this saying correctly) and receive ''points''
for doing so! I THINK THAT'S REALLY SOMETHING!

Gigi, I didn't know you were ph34r.gif ph34r.gif ph34r.gif

Congratulations, Jacky!! That's a lot of gabbing you've done. biggrin.gif I'd like to catch up with you, but I haven't had the time in the last few months to spend much time with my SP friends. Hopefully that will change soon.

Warm Regards,

Catherine

Hi Everyone,

and on the topic of talking and unusual sayings, I gather KK likes our word 'Nattering"

for talking, and the phrase from Margaret "Talking the hind legs off a donkey" is very popular in the

north of England, I wonder if we should start a new topic on unusual phrases, I am sure there must

be some really good ones out there that we have not heard of.

Why do we say "Talk of the Devil" when we see someone we have been talking about.

Food for thought!!! smile.gif

Elly.
