Hello Gigi, I would have looked this morning had I seen your question.
So if no-one has come up with the answer by Monday, I will check then.

Have a good week=end.. Hope you enjoyed your Turkey....(over Xmas, of
course) cool.gif

Hello Katita and Queenie, why don't you start off the story under the general heading, and I am sure Vegas Lady and I will join in. So get your skates
on as our minds need a workover! Martha, hope you are watching........
and everyone else who feels like a step into the unknown...... ph34r.gif

The reason we did not finish the last one was due to the flooding in New Orleans
and it did not seem appropriate to continue and end it at that time...

smile.gif Hi Jacky,

It seems ages since the last story, and it was great to see what was in

the minds of you ladies that took the time to write, some quite amusing others

gripping, and some left you on the edge, and couldn't wait for the next saga.

So Jacky , Vegas Lady, Katita, Queenie and Martha, we wait for your hidden talents

to blossom, and keep us enthralled on these bleak winter nights in the U.K.

Now LOST is about to finish, I am looking for something else to while away the

hours............ laugh.gif

Come on girls, could be a best seller !!!

We received the Hummingbird and the Peacock today and love both of them. wub.gif

The Hummingbird is a beautiful piece and we even like that the flowers don't compete with the bling of the little bird. They compliment each other very well and you could display the hummingbird by itself if you wanted to. We love the petite size of this piece.

The peacock is also a beautifully made piece with just the right amount of bling. The back of the fan is not enameled but is beautifully engraved to look like feathers.

All in all, two of the prettiest pieces made in the last two or three years and the price wasn't too bad either. smile.gif smile.gif smile.gif

Thank you very kindly Margaret and Don for answering my question about the peacock. Really appreciate what you said and your opinions about those two birds. And Jacqueline thank you too for offering to check about the Peacock as well. Your offer is so much appreciated. (I still haven't made up my mind on these solids.) It once again proves there are some very nice and kind people on this board willing to help each other out.

Yes, Jacqueline I enjoyed my holiday turkey, but right now I don't even want to look at another because I had too much! laugh.gif Trying to exercise those calories off. mad.gif

When I go to sleep tonite, I'll try to dream about solid birds and not birds used for cooking! biggrin.gif

smile.gif Speaking of birds (turkeys etc.) I can tell you a funny story....OK am going down to the General Heading shortly!

Meanwhile, Don and Margaret's description sounds very enticing. My
spending is on hold right now.....but...trust Don to get the bird!

Bulldog Drummond has grown on me! Lots of Sentrys around still! ph34r.gif
