Incredible how they make the fake items in China, but I do think these that have come up are for real....

Hope it makes it to you safely.

Hi Liliane, will you post a photo of your new painters palette.
Posted 18 October 2005 - 02:39 AM
I'm an Ebay virgin and just wondered if Liliane has bought the prototype just hoping it really is the genuine article, or is there any proof that it is truly EL.
There seemed to be quite a bit of scepticism of the item and I thought maybe a collector like Liliane knew certain details to look for.
Lets hope that when Liliane receives the pallet it lives up to expectations - bonne chance.

Hi Ann and Liliane,
First of all..... Many Congratulations Liliane. I love the Pallete and have learned much from you and Ann. I know that you will enjoy it in your collection.
Ann, I really appreciate your explaining the details of the prototype. I had no idea, but this certainly helps. It amazes me that you have such a vast knowlege of the intricacies of these solids.
Many thanks and best to you both!!

This is an unfinished one--6571675976 on Ebay.
Not to be confused with a prototype.

Yes KK - I will post a photo on the board, as soon as I get the item and arranged it in my showcase.
Caroline - I knew exactly what I buy!!!
By the way - I know that there exist at least three of this prototypes.
I saw one of it even befor in person.
Thanks Mimi - yes I'll enjoy it very much!
Have all a wonderful Weekend!

I think people are not mad...or idiots...just uneducated. I prefer to think of myself that way anyway
I guess it's fairly obvious that this is not a prototype by the photos themselves...why would a prototype be stamped inside? No point....besides, without the stones, it's just plain UGLY, lol.
$12 postage...nuthin to me, try $30 or $40 sometimes to get stuff down here

I agree with the postage! Something like that could be sent in a plain white envelope. I've received solids in an envelope from ebay
I'm glad you brought this unfinished solid up. I saw it and was going to ask you about it. No crystals or enamel so it's unfinished. How does this get on ebay?
Thanks for explaining, Ann.
I can't wait to see, Liliane
Hi Brigitte, thanks for posting these. I knew you had them I've seen them in your vast collection.
