I phoned with Ann and Ken a few minutes ago.

wub.gif Ann and Ken as well as their pets are fine!!! wub.gif
smile.gif The solids and trains are safe too. smile.gif

The damage in Baton Rouge is small.
They do not have electricity for probably one week - so also no computer.

rolleyes.gif I think Ann & Ken will have today a candle light dinner. rolleyes.gif

Hope you all are fine too!!!
Take care,

Liliane

Glad the storm is over for them . . . . and a candlelit dinner wouldn't be so bad, would it?

I guess we'll have to wait and see about others though . . . .

Thanks for the update, Liliane. wink.gif

Liliane, thank you so much for letting us know Ann and Ken & pets are O.K. I spent most of last night watching CNN and Fox news and saw that it was not quite as disasterous in Baton Rouge as New Orleans but it must be a very frightening thing to be anywhere near a hurricane area.

Even under the circumstances Ann & Ken I hope you enjoy a romantic candlelight dinner, we will be thinking of you.

Thank you for letting us know Liliane we are too happy to hear Ann and Ken made it through this one OK, I was very anxious to hear and my internet was down again all day today, we had a whopper of a thunder storm today.

So until our next Hurricane (we are almost at the peak of the season) unsure.gif

Hi Liliane,

Thank-you for the update on Ann and Ken, and pleased to hear that they

are safe and well.

Although I watched Fox news this morning and it does not look good for the

people in N.O. and surrounding areas, I was surprised to see skyscraper hotels

with all the windows blown out and a vast ammount of homes under water.I am

sure it will take months for everything to be back to normality.

Just lets hope and pray that they get no more hurricanes in that area, I know it is

bad for you all over there, but it is expected this time of year. Lets hope over the

next month that they are not too bad and cause less damage.

Thinking of you all,
Elly.
