With all the bad weather and now we have to pack up with the hurricane headed for us it got me thinking which one of the solids can I save if we have to leave our house?

So, which solids would you take/save if you could only take 10???

To start I would take :

Imperial Princess
Green apple
Carousel
Harrods bears or all of Harrods

That was easy now it gets hard on what makes the cut.

Lets hear from you. smile.gif smile.gif

This was a tough question indeed. And such a horrible one. The mere thought of only having to keep 10 solids gives me the shivers blink.gif I must definitely have my circus solids and my Las Vegas solids and after that I have only two left ohmy.gif How many powders can I keep?? tongue.gif

Wow, that is a hard one, I guess my Pink cat on a pillow, Magic Dragon, 2001 Fairy, Peach, Squirrel, Bustier, Pink & Blue Hot air balloons and Poodle would be it. Of course we live in earthquake country so the soilds would be fine. Then I wiould try to save my 50 or more Lalique L'Air du Temps bottles, or maybe my 50 Factice, Too many decisions, LOL Lainey

Oh, Ann and Ken I do hope the monster doesn't come to your home. We spent a rather frightening night Thursday as we were very close to the eye. And Katrina was then only a catagory one. Winds howled at 84 mph with gusts to 92 and rain found every crack around our windows. Bless the person who invented duct tape!

You pose a tough question. These are my choices

Carousel
Plum
Pear
Red Apple
Party Shoes
Magic Dragon
Sparkling Mermaid
Starry Night
Bejewled Beehive
Pink Tutu

And how could I possibly leave the Ballet Slippers, Princess Phone, Cowboy Boots,
Cowboy Hats behind? Maybe I could leave a suitcase of clothes behind and just take one old ratty bathrobe?

Do be careful and run from the storm if necessary

Me I'm going to wear pants with huge pockets and stuff them with as many that will fit and then take two large Neimans and Saks shopping bags and fill them with my empty boxes. blink.gif laugh.gif

We agree with most of you. We can't even begin to narrow it down to 10. sad.gif

Being Texans though, we would have to start with:

The Silver and Gold Cowboy hats biggrin.gif

The Cactus

The Magic Dragon (hey, we have fairy tales here too. ph34r.gif )

The Chinese Lucky Dragon (we already love this one as much as any)

After these we'd have to get big pockets like Ron. smile.gif

Get out your handkerchiefs! sad.gif

I would have to take all the ones with sentimental value i.e. those given to me as presents! They would have to be my first priority. Then the rarest ones I have as I might have to sell them to raise some money later.

THEN I would stuff my pockets with some jewellery and RUN!

I wouldn't bother to save any of my solids - I'd just grab the cat and run. ph34r.gif

Of course, he is much more practical, and I expect he would have his very own tiny backpack prepared and packed with all his solids! Not that he owns that many, cats can only carry so much. biggrin.gif

Thanks everyone for your PM's and messages.

We packed solids all day yesterday and did the important things today. smile.gif

We are going to ride this one out even though it looks VERY bad.

We made a place for our 4 cats & 4 birds and ourselves with 10 solids and 10 trains.
Our pantry has never been so clean. laugh.gif Guess we will spend the night in the pantry.

I am sure we will not have our computer but if we can get word out we will.

Katrina is now at 175 mph and building.
Pray for us.
Ken
