All of the Chinese dragons I have looked at have feathers or something on the end of their tails. Maybe that's what the Strongwater tail has????????????? unsure.gif

Hmmmm...... sound good but doesn't quite look like a flaming pearl or feathers. ohmy.gif

It would be nice however to have a little explaination card with the solid like EL has done in the past. I also looked online today and found out there are several different types of Chinese Dragons and it would have been a nice touch to know what the designers went with.

(this design was done by EL not JS)

The dragon is on a bed of waves. On my solid, the gold thing at the end of his tail looks like a cloud caused by motion. There are two straight lines going into the cloud. It could either be something to represent movement, or something to represent the dragon's breath, as his head is turned that way. My son has sculpted Chinese dragons and said this is a very nice one, but would be perfect if it were holding a pearl. I haven't had the chance to ask him about the supposed "dragon poopie." laugh.gif

Catherine, SORRY !!!
But "breath" does not come out of the opposite side smile.gif smile.gif smile.gif huh ?
Or does this dragon have a problem ? Anything known about that from Chinese history ?

Anyway, a poopie IS hot air, isn't it ?

Oh, Astrid, that's not what I meant! tongue.gif I can't type now because I'm laughing too hard! What I meant was...if it's a fire breathing dragon, it could have breath reach that far. Or it could have eaten at Jose's Taco Cabana! You pick it! ohmy.gif

Catherine, now I got it: a dragon burning his own back laugh.gif
Sounds like some kind of psychic problem.

Okay, joke - I know what you mean but's too funny tongue.gif

Astrid,

It would be like a puff of smoke. Kind of like how your breath lingers in the cold air in the winter. The smoke could drift. The lines around the "cloud" indicate motion...like the cloud is moving. Still, we are all speculating. It could just be a gold blob!

I think this is dragon ball.

According to Cinese tradition; When dragon get a ball , he become stronger.

Dragon ball is made of gold or crystal.

Very funny, Lisa laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif
If this is suppose to be a cloud it's a cheesy one. Same for a puff of smoke!
The bottom is a wave, I couldn't figure that out ohmy.gif
