I didn't see this show- it conflicted with another show I watched during the same time frame. I heard it was good and someday hope to see it.

Right now Big Brother is my favorite!

Vegas Lady,

I saw the last two or three shows before it took a summer break, and I got hooked. From what I saw it is like a"who done it" I can't wait to see what they find!

My parents and my son have been watching the show and love it. (I don't have alot of time for TV) so I missed most of the show, but the last show before the summer break was a recap of the prior shows, so I was up to date in no time.

I am sure someone else here who watched it from the start can help.

Mary

Hi Margaret,

I must admit I hadn't heard of it till I watched G.M.T.V this morning and they are making such a big thing of it, saying that the series was good and asking people what they thought of it.

Some said it was a bit spooky others thought they were abducted by aliens(maybe Jackie should watch this, could help with her gripping story lines) biggrin.gif
Some commented it was a bit like Dallas and could be all a dream, I have sky plus, so I will video it and watch at a more sociable time.

Happy viewing,
Elly.

Hi Margaret I watched it a few times but didn't care for it that much. dry.gif
I'd rather watch the "Apprentice" Donald Trump or
now we are going to have The Apprentice" with Martha Stewart. tongue.gif
To be honest with you I think some of your English shows such as
"Are You Being Served" and "Keeping Up Appearances" have more humor rolleyes.gif
and I like more dry humor than weekley soap operas, which I feel the "Lost"
show is. Jerry says it is o.k. but he hasn't watched it as much as I.
Hope I didn't confuse you, Margaret! blink.gif

HI PAM...... smile.gif

WE GOT THE APPRENTICE AS WELL, OURS WAS WITH ALLEN SUGAR, IT WAS COMPULSIVE VIEWING AND I JUST LOVED IT.

I HAVE TO LAUGH, KEEPING UP APPEARANCES REMINDS ME OF MY LATE MOTHER, HER AND MRS BUCKET OR BOUQUET AS SHE LIKED TO BE KNOWN HAD A LOT IN COMMON..... biggrin.gif AND YES, SOME OF THE OLD BRITISH TV SHOWS WERE THE BEST.

I WILL GIVE THIS" LOST" A GO AND SEE WHAT ITS LIKE, BUT I THINK THAT IT'S THE SORT OF THING THAT I WILL SOON GET FED UP WITH.

MY BEST WISHES TO YOU......

MARGARET

not heard a word about it until Margaret's post!

Will be interesting, and am wondering what it is all about!

Same here Jacky I hadn't heard about it either, until I started to watch G.M.T.V. and a preview was on there.

I must admit I am an avid watcher of Donald Trump's Apprentice, didn't watch our own version with Alan Sugar.

I think that I only watch it to see if Donald Trump's hair moves biggrin.gif
being an ex hairdresser, I would love to take my scissors to it!!!!!

I really enjoyed the series. I started watching it at the very beginning, and my only gripe is that they kept trying to build the audience so they would rerun the opening episode. I bet I saw the opening episode where the plane goes down at least 4 times when I was expecting a new episode with more info on the cast. The cliff hanger at the end of the year, has me eagerly awaiting the new season.
But it can't top Keiffer Sutherland in 24
24 is the best series I have ever seen

I DIDN'T WATCH 'LOST' BUT IT AND 'DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES' (WHICH I DID WATCH & REALLY ENJOYED) WERE THE TWO TOP RATING SHOWS IN AUSTRALIA SO FAR THIS YEAR.

JACKIE - I LOVED THE PRODUCERS TOO AND WE WERE SO FORTUNATE HERE AS MEL BROOKS CAME OUT FOR THE AUSTRLIAN PREMIERE WHICH WAS IN MELBOURNE AND WE WERE LUCKY ENOUGH TO BE SITTING VERY NEAR HIM.
