What the hell is going on here? I really would like an explaination of why these solids are being offered on eBay the seller is from Canada, please look at the other items this seller has for auction- in my opinion all their items are from a warehouse sale.

2004 Lily bouquet Jay Strongwater
Retail for this solids is $300 wait one year or so and you could get it for $198.88 BIN for a savings of $100

2004 Lighthouse
Retail of this solid is $250 wait and get it for $178.88 BIN for a savings of $70

2004 Pampered Kitty Jay Strongwater
Retail for this solid is $225 seller is offering this solids beginning at $148 with no reserve. If one one else bid you would save $77

MIND YOU ALL THESE SOLIDS ARE OFFERED WITH PERFUME AND BOX

I wished my solids cost $5. mad.gif Good thing I didn't buy that Strongwater solid last year. I didn't like it and $300 was way to much. I like the lighthouse yet I still haven't bought one. I think I'll hold off until they offer MIB with outer white box. rolleyes.gif

What kind of connections do you need to be invited to a warehouse sale? I can plan my vacation around it. Canada is nice. Haven't been to NY yet.

Yeah - this one only got one bid and went for $138.88 !!

So a difference of $110.00! That's some discount, huh? 46% !!

Guess now I am the dummy because I spent $250 + tax on this "oh so exclusive" solid.

So my point is if tomorrow I listed my lighthouse for the price I paid + the tax do you think I would get my asking price if the whole eBay world just saw this solid go for that insane low price?

This is the point I am really driving home.... that MIB solid (after 2000) is now worth less than what we paid for it.

So, the opportunist at the warehouse sales are EL employees. You mean the ones who sell us the solids or the ones who work for the corp. as execs and office people. Hmmm...........................

Well Thomcat, looks like we have to have an invite or we could wear our solidperfume t-shirts and crash the sale. Somebody yell ROAD TRIP and start up the bus ohmy.gif ohmy.gif ohmy.gif

Hey Sandra, I like your idea biggrin.gif just send it back and get your money laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif

KK,

If you were to wear your SolidPerfume t-shirt you would be kicked out for sure, remember they don't like us here.

Lisa,
They should LOVE us here. wub.gif WE are the ones buying and treasuring these little darlings they put out every year. WE are their customers! If we're just a thorn in their side, then Estee Lauder solid perfumes could go the way of the pet rock (like Max Factor, Revlon and other solids); especially if they keep jacking up the prices without improving quality. wacko.gif

So, how do I get a SolidPerfume t-shirt?

Lisa,
It's hard to believe we're not LIKED! Now, I might have to go wearing the t-shirt just to see the looks on the faces of the elite warehouse workers. cool.gif
Come on thomcat let's go get em'. biggrin.gif laugh.gif
