And Lisa, I completely agree with what you said about collecting solids is not what is used to be. I don't have the anticipation and excitement I used to get when solids were on the verge of being released. I really miss that feeling.

It's quite different from other dogs. Since this one is not cute(!), it is very new to the solid collection. Well, I should have said 'I'm interested' rather than 'I like'.
Again, am I weird??

I too really like the Bulldog and please never be afraid to express your opinions even if they are against the majority. It is important!

The bulldog is starting to grow on me.
Really looking forward to seeing the beefeater/guard.

If you like it, then great - say so!! Don't feel like your in a majority or minority about anything. I am sure they would be loads of people who agree with you either way.
I'm sure the poor little Bulldog pup has plenty of admirers . . . . even though I think he is ugly. . . Hey - I'm joking!!

Dear KK and Nancy,
I also thought that was unusal that you could recalled Popeye's dog's name.
So, I checked Google and there is a guy who has a website denoted to Popeye's
Trivia. Now can you believe after all these years, someone would give a Hoot about Popeye!

GOT TO SAY THAT POPEYE WAS ONE OF THE BEST AND I REMEMBER IT WELL.
OLIVE-OIL AND I HAVE A LOT IN COMMON...... SKINNY LITTLE LEGS WITH BIG FEET ON THE END

Just got the photo of the Harrods guard.
It is not the beefeater. It is a palace guard in his little guard house.
The guard with the red jacket ,black pants and tall black hat.
The beefeater would have been much more colorful .
The picture is to small to reproduce here but it should not be long before better photos are out.

As for the Bulldog, will have to see this one too! I think a Union Jack across his chest emblazoned with crystals (in the same vein as the English Emblem), would have been an idea??????????
With regard to the newly released solids, i.e. the Dragon, Parasol, Lanterns etc., will look to see if there is another heading for these before writing.
