Nicki,

I am not sure but think the "20 years" on the teddy foot symbolizes Mohammed Al Fayed owning HARRODS for that long as it was purchasesd by Mr. Fayed back in 1985.

I don't care for that additional information on the bear foot, it's too distracting.

WHAT DOES EVERYONE ELSE THINK OF THESE TWO SOLIDS?

I'm not too keen on the bear either. It looks as though something is missing too.
Don't think much of the bulldog either.
I thought it was a Sentry not a Beefeater though!

Oh Boy! These two look way out of proportion to me. And for the ego on the bears left foot it just is way to big. If it has to be incorporated put on the right foot, small under Harrod's. Yes, the bears arms look like sausages. The poor dog is muscle bond with a tiny head. Who knows maybe they look great, but not in these photos. Just my 2 cents. The designers blew it on these two. blink.gif ohmy.gif unsure.gif

Hi all,
Great photo's Lisa biggrin.gif
I think the bear would be great if it had a hat on it and a few sparkly's too.
The dog should be draped in a union jack with sparkly's.
Will have to buy the bear though as I'm too far down the line to stop. ohmy.gif

Don't like either one so its with much regret I will not buy them. My hat is off to the collectors who will buy this one to add to their collections of bears.

This makes me wonder on a bigger picture about future designs for Harrods solids and how the buying public will react. Only time will tell, but I have to say that yes I am concerned especially if they keep this up this way.

I have to agree about the bear. They could have done something different and add just a little bling. Maybe one day the entire bear will be covered with rhinestones. rolleyes.gif

I'm still going to buy all the Harrods solids. I want a complete set of the bears. I'm more concerned with Harrod's service and getting the solids in a timely manner.
