Is anyone giving their Mom a solid as a gift for Mother's Day? Does anyone think they will be getting a solid as a gift from their children?

Well I'm pretty sure I won't get any solids for Mother's Day, but that's okay as the kids usually buy something from the Mother's day stalls from school.

It's not always what you need but they have picked it out 'specially for you and that's what counts the most.

I'm pretty lucky this Mother's Day as my eldest son turns 18. So I get to celebrate two special things; being a mum to five wonderful kids and having my son become a handsome young man. Can't get much prouder than that.

I get to have two breakfasts one in bed (of course) and a special birthday breakfast for Chris. (something that he has chosen).

Later we will all go out for a lovely family dinner. I'm really looking forward to not having to cook.

MyMum lives too far away to spend it with her (which is sad) but she will be in my thoughts as I give thanks for a wonderful Mum.

Hope everyone has a special day on their Mother's Day

I won't be getting a solid perfume for Mother's Day
as Jerry has bought me flowers for the garden which I love
almost as much as the E. L. Solids.

Here's wishing everyone has a very nice Mother's Day!

YEP!! I have given my mother a solid as a present three times a year (birthday, mother's day and christmas) for the last three years because she got me into them. Her collection began quite a few years ago, but because of the limited stock that arrives here, did not get any rarities!! So now I surprise her with ones from O/S that she has not seen before (she doesn't go online).

Aren't I nice? laugh.gif
