I believe Estee Lauder solid compacts have made a comeback!
Sure do like the "Pampered Pekinese" and "Chinese Lucky Dragon."

OMG! These are gorgeous and beyond my wildest expectations!!! I want them all, too, but especially like the Pampered Pekinese, Bejeweled Elephant, and the blue Royal Lantern.

Thanks Woody and Lisa for the photos! You made my day! biggrin.gif

Queenie, how much are you asking for your husband?

They are the ones I have chosen too Margaret! You know what they say! Great minds think alike!

The Dragon is a must and it fits with the Pagoda and the Lion Heads (oriental theme) plus others of the Ivory series.....

The Parasol looks stunning.

Am definitely NOT buying all of them!!!!!!! unsure.gif

...just got home from work and turned on my computer to check my email and....
OH MY!!!! I must have them all. I really like the dragon and pekinese. I also like the lanterns and the parasol - see I must have them all!! laugh.gif biggrin.gif rolleyes.gif
I'm already saving! I worked all day so today I spent nothing. Tomorrow I work all day also - so again, savings! As for selling my husband, well....it's a thought but when I weigh his earnings potential against any immediate profit, it just doesn't work out in my favor in the long run. Plus, I can't snuggle a solid! laugh.gif tongue.gif

Yes, the Neiman Marcus group really needed a year of good solids, this is it for sure! I have heard (but not sure) that these are Bob Conte designs, if so he sure knows what us collectors like.

Thanks Lisa!!!

These really are much better than ones EL has been offering lately. Strongwaters excepted, his are always special. Is there a chance that the GD will be improved as well?

Oh gosh (or words to that effect!) They are so beautiful, I guess I agree the elephant is the one I could, if I had to, live without, but the lanterns, and the dragon.......oh boy! I just have to have them.
