Hello everyone.

I am asking for everyones help especially our international members. I would like to make a list of stores that sell EL solids.

In the South here we have:

Saks
Neiman Marcus
Burdines/Macys
Lord & Taylor
Bloomingdales

If there are stores that sell solids not listed above please add them!

Thanks

Where we live in the Texas outback, Dillards is the only store that handles the solids and they only sell the general distribution ones.

In Sweden the EL solids are only sold in the following department stores in Stockholm

Debenhams
NK
?hlÈns

I know they are also being sold in Norway and Denmark but I do not know in which stores. Lisa, if you want me to I can call the EL office here in Sweden and try to find out.

Houston, TX - Other than the stores already mentioned, we have:

Folley's - general distribution

*Special note: I found out the hard way that they send back all unsold solids/compacts immediately after Christmas. Wish they would wait at least until Valentine's (or mother's) Day is over. These are probably the ones you commonly find at the outlets.

Great idea Lisa!

Other than what has been listed already, Marshall Field's sells general distribution solids in the Twin Cities (Minnesota).

Hi, this is Erica from Japan.

EL solids are sold at 50 stores in Japan, according to their site. Should I list them here all...?

Wow Erica, that's a lot of stores. You don't have to list them all, only four or five of them.

Where are our UK and Aussie members??

Thanks everyone else wink.gif

Well, the stores in Japan are:

Takashimaya
Seibu
Tohbu
Mitsukoshi
Isetan
Hankyu
Odakyu
Keiou
and etc.

All of them are the major department stores in Japan. And not every branch store sells EL solids, just the ones which are located in the major cities(Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya and so on) sell the solids. These stores make '50'.

They release the solids only once a year, as far as I know.

The stores in Australia, well certainly Melbourne are

David Jones & Myer

Occassionally you can buy a few of the general distribution solids in the chain Pharmacies like Terry White, but that's it. Also until this last Christmas very few solids came into Australia at all & in only small numbers and at HUGE prices.

Here are the German locations - general distribution only:

Hertie / Munich
KaDeWe / Berlin
Douglas stores if they are located in bigger cities
most of the department stores like Karstadt, Kaufhof etc. if they have an EL counter

As far as I know: exclusives, JS, JL are not available here in Germany

AND: all solid perfumes are horrible expensive mad.gif

Debenhams used to but now, they have a limited stock of the Compact Powders only sad.gif
Nancy might want to add because they did have a large store in Scotland that sold the solids, I don't know if they still do!

In addition to Joni's post, we have Dillards that sell general distribution solids here in the Northwest.
