Welcome To Las Vegas!

It will have a special place in my heart because of our wedding there (sorry, no Elvis).
The opening of the package had to be postponed until the evening as word had gotten around that I had received something from the USA. So eleven of us were at the table in our neighbours house to watch the grear unwrapping. I can't tell you how much the tension was increased by the quality of the wrapping and the number of layers I had to remove!!!!
The opening of the bag was accompanied by an audible intake of breath as the solid was finally revealed.
After being passed from one to the other the decision was final - SUPERB!!!!
Again thanks for all the offers, I am so glad I found the site and so many kind people.

Just returned from a Vegas trip. Stopped by the EL store and just couldn't help but notice how low their stock on perfume solids and compacts was. Lots of barns, flower carts and LV signs, of course the general distribution ones for this year and a few others from last year, I think. They also had the 2 powder compacts for this year as well. WOW...they must really sell out of stuff when they have events.
I also had a chance to drive by the Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign. The EL replica is excellent! About the plain base..well...the original sign sits on gravel. So, I guess not much there to design...unless they wanted the gravel look.
On another note...chanced upon a small exhibit that had the car that Bonnie and Clyde died in. Also on display was Clyde's shirt wih bullet holes (yupppers the one he died in)....EERIE!
And...yuppers...lost my Hiney in Vegas.

Surely your Lucky Dice will be show up some time soon, Lisa! Hope so 'cos I reckon they would fit in rather nicely!
I would love to visit Las Vegas and see the sign for real and all the other exciting things on offer. But for now I am content with my sign until my luck comes in!
