Well, as some of you have noticed we had a server crash last night. We lost all the chatboard posts from Dec 25th onward. We were able to recover all the other pages from the site, but not the chat posts from Dec 25th on.

I'm still working on a few longshots to get them back, but in the meantime they are gone. I apologise and I will be backing up much more frequently from now on.

Please feel free to restart any threads which may have been lost. Also, if you notice anything missing or not working, please email me!

Thanks Patricia,

Still working on getting back some of the lost topics. We have recovered some of the posts so that is why you are seeing dates after Dec. 25th showing up . I hate the thought of losing all of the great threads we had in the last couple of weeks like the photos from Ann & Ken. [Frown]
Hopefully we will be successful, keep your fingers crossed!

Thanks for all the kind words from everyone.
Nothing specific makes a server crash in this case it was writing corrupted data to the hard drive for some reaason. This eventually causes the hard drive to fail and the server dies. [Frown]
We missed the next back up by two days, just bad luck [Roll Eyes]

Hi Lisa,

it's great that the site is back. I missed looking at all the posts. I also had my computer damaged and lost a lot of important things. I'm working on saving all these dates again, but as you will know it takes so much time to do it.

Good luck and thanks for keeping this site running as it simply is extraordinary

Yes Lisa, I'm glad you managed to get things up and running again so quickly. Although I was having withdrawal symptoms. It felt like I'd lost touch with all the gossip.

Nancy
