'over here, over here' shouted Uncle Bob, 'welcome to Las Vegas, I have a limo waiting for you, jump in now and dont sit on Aunt Lola's BOUQUETOF FLOWERS in the back'
Off they went to their hotel where Aunt Lola was waiting for them, she kissed all the little bears in turn, her feathered headress tickling their little noses.
Running to the window Thomas who was beside him self with excitement cried out 'look, look whats that over there'! 'Thats Excalibur,Merlins Castle' replied Uncle Bob, 'can we go'? asked Thomas jumping up and down.
Aunt Lola smiled at them, before you go out you must take off your hats and coats and put on these cloths I have bought for you, it's very hot in Vegas she explained.
Quick as a flash Thomas, Rodney, William and Giles changed into the shorts and ENGLISH EMBLEM tee-shirts that Aunt Lola gave them and for the final touch she placed STRAW HATS on their heads and a blob of sun cream on their little noses.
'Off you go now' she said.
'A'rnt you coming with us' asked Rodney looking very disappointed.
'Not today' Rodney, she said 'I have a show to do on Fremont Street she explained as she pulled on her long gloves and patted down her sequins.
'Come on, come on' cried Thomas, 'I want to go now'!!!!!!
The doors of Excalibur opened and the fan fare of trumpets that met them made the little bears jump out of their fur skins, on they went down the walkway.
'Look at that' cried Thomas, 'What is it'?
Thats the MAGIC DRAGON chair explained Uncle Bob, ' Would you like to sit in it'? he asked.
Thomas thought the chair looked very scary and started to cry.
'Quick' said Uncle Bob diverting his attention, 'The show is about to start, lets go'
Inside the arena was very dark except for a very large GLITTER BALL ( powder )
hanging over the stage. A beauty FAIRY appeared and started to sing and dance, the ENCHANTED BUTTERFLY joined her and together they flew gracefully into the air, the glitter ball reflecting on their wings.
Thomas sat very still, his little heart was beating very fast with love for the beautiful fairy.
All to soon the show was over and they all found themselves outside in the bright SUNSHINE, paw in paw they set off down the strip.
'Were hungry'! said William and Giles.
'Not a problem' said Uncle Bob, 'Lets go to Denny's for CHERRY PIE and CAFE'
The little bears very mindfull of their table manners sat down and waited to be served. All at once a smiling lady dashed up to them.
'Well, well' she exclaimed, 'its the four little Harrods bears from England'.
For a moment Rodney, William, Giles and Thomas were blinded by her large amount of sparkly jewelry, Uncle Bob laughed, boys this is Mrs Bling Bling from England, she is famous in certain parts of the country for her jewelry, the little bears offered their paws to be shaken.
Thomas was the first to speak. 'You have a glitter ball round your neck' he told her.
'Do you like it' asked Mrs Bling Bling.
'Very much' sighed Thomas remembering the Fairy.
'It's called the SHIMMERING SPHERE, and if you like it that much you may keep it' said Mrs Bling Bling placing the sphere around his neck.
' Bye bye for now, hope we meet again one day, I have a lot of shopping to do' and waving her HARRODS BAG in the air she was gone.
The party set off again down the strip. Thomas was getting tired now and stopped to rest outside a casino doorway. All at once he jumped back and pointing to over the door wailed 'OH whats that'
They all looked up at the large JESTER looming over them.
Uncle Bob went very quiet and wispered to the bears 'That's Joules the Jester a long time ago in England so the story goes a wicked witch cast a spell on him and he has to stay here for ever more over the doorway of Harrah's casino, but lets move on and I will show you all a place you will love'.
'Before we go' said Uncle Bob I' want you all to look across the road at that beautiful white building, that place is called Caesars Palace, and in there is Aunt Lola's favourite shop called Estee Lauder, if you see her going in there do tell me so I can stop my credit card'
'We will, we will' cried all the Bears except Rodney, who liked Aunt Lola very much.
The little bears arrived at Uncle Bobs favourite casino, 'This is the Venetian' he told them.
'Can we have a BOATRIDE' all the bears shouted together. They all waited inline and a nice gondolier helped them in. Off they set the gondolier singing teddy bears picnic ( in Italian of course )
Thomas was over excited and would not sit still, waving his arms about and jumping up and down, over the side he went with a large splash, the quick thinking gondolier hooked him out with his pole and a very wet little bear was put on the side.
'Quick'! shouted Uncle Bob 'Bring the electric VENETIAN FAN and lets dry him off'
When they all got back to the hotel Aunt Lola gave them a good telling off for not looking after baby Thomas, Rodney, William and Giles scowled 'Trust Thomas to spoil our day'
Later that night Aunt Lola and Uncle Bob looked in on the little bears, all were fast asleep noses twiching the bears were dreaming once again.......
William and Giles were dreaming of all the money they could win at the casino's
Little Thomas was holding the sphere in his paw and dreaming about the fairy.
Rodney was dreamimg about Aunt Lola putting on her long gloves......BUT THATS ANOTHER STORY.
'Now tell me' said Uncle Bob to Aunt Lola handing her a glass of BUBBLY 'How is my best SHOW GIRL tonight.........

Uncle Bob gave her a warm BEAR HUG but Aunt Lola was not in the mood for any hugs or anything else for that matter, she just wanted to go to sleep.
So Rodney, Giles, William, and Thomas kept dreaming..... they didn't snore so loud this time as they felt so contented being near their Uncle Bob and Lola.
William and Giles kept dreaming of $$$$ they could win at the SLOT MACHINE, and they keep seeing all these Gold Coins....

The following day in Vegas, the bears watched Aunt Lola and Uncle Bob play the Roulette Wheel and the Slot Machines at Circus Circus. Being lucky bears, they were pleased to see the money coming their way. Thomas had a Lucky Coin and he wanted to use it. . . . . but little bears were under age and weren't allowed to gamble.
"Please, Uncle Bob - I want to use my lucky coin!" whined Thomas. "No, Thomas, my precious bear - your Lucky Coin is for you to keep for luck, if you spend it, then it will be gone forever", explained Bob. Big tears welled again in Thomas' eyes. But before the plop, plop, plops could start, he was distracted by a loud fanfare behind him - it was a show starting and all of a sudden the doors to a big Circus Tent stage opened and Circus Clowns came running out!!
A Piroutte came out to Thomas and offered his arm to take him to the front row. The group sat in eager anticipation of what was going to happen next!!

Absorbed on watching this show, they didn't notice that Thomas had left until the Show was over. "Oh no, here we go again" mumbled Rodney. Rodney thought that he may have to put a leash on his baby brother.
So the Group went looking for baby Thomas who was no where to be found....
They went to the Manager of the Hotel and asked Mr. Circus if he could make an announcement on the Loud Speaker. Mr. Circus obliged "Mr. Thomas Harrod, will you please come to the Front Desk immediately" he announced.
A short while after the loud announcement, Thomas showed up and his brothers yelled at him!! "Where were you? We were so worried about you!" they exclaimed.
Thomas wanted to cry again as he felt terrible, but he had to go to the bathroom and didn't want to bother anyone. On his way out of the bathroom, he saw the most beautiful BIRDBATH with Vegas Girls dancing around it......

'Hello little man'' a sultry voice whispered in his ear. 'You wouldn't be related to Big Bob and his Havannah would you?''

Gigi looked up and saw Lola approaching. Her reaction was much the same as Lola's. She thought Lola was as beautiful as ever, but wrote it off to extensive cosmetic surgery and liposuction. What she didn't know, however, was that Lola was now married to Bob.
"Lola," squealed Gigi, and both women hugged and air-kissed one another.

So Thomas decided to take a walk-about by himself when he decided to have a Hotdog.
As he was munching on his "dog" he saw a side show of lions dancing around that absolutely fascinated him!
The CIRCUS LION was so exciting that little Thomas asked the Master Lion if he could join them as he wanted to join in the fun.
"Ut Oh, Ut Oh" Thomas said under his breath, I think I see Aunt Lola flying on a PEGASUS, she's probably looking for me! I better go hide......

Blindly he left the room with one paw over his eyes and one arm outstretched feeling his way. Suddenly his arm touched something solid. He uncovered his eyes to see an angry Rodney in front of him with his arms across his chest.
Behind Rodney was William, Giles, Uncle Bob and Lola
"Uh - oh!!" Thomas knew he was in trouble now!!
"That's it sonny boy!!" said the usually good natured Uncle Bob. "We're moving on. This is no place for a little baby bear! And I think he's seen enough solids here. It's time to move on. We'll go across Texas and to see some Rodeos now".
So off they all went in Uncle Bob's limo heading east . . . . . .

"Now hold on, little pardner," says Uncle Bob, "We gotta get through Arizona and New Mexico first. I know you bears wanna see the Grand Canyon!" The bears screamed their approval. "It's also time you were introduced to a little bit of culture, especially after Las Vegas!" Uncle Bob winked at Aunt Lola. "There are some great museums in Albuquerque where you can see paintings, jewelry and pottery of the Southwest." The bears groaned their disappointment.
Uncle Bob sighed. Had he had any idea how exhausting it was trying to entertain his four young nephews, he might of thought twice about the trip. He couldn't believe his nephews' boundless energy, not to mention the food they put away!
"Can we go horseback riding when we get to the Grand Canyon?" Rodney asked.
"Let's stop in the Painted Desert, too," Williams chimed in.
"Will there be shops at the museum?" Giles chinged, chinged.
"I'm hungry," Thomas said, "When are we going to stop for a snack?"
