I just saw a news blurb on CNN that the winning bidder on the yummy sandwich was the Golden Palace Casino. It sold for $28,000. rolleyes.gif

I thought the bids were a joke. It's crazy someone would pay so much for that!

I heard the seller interviewed on radio by Don and Mike. She sold the sandwich to Golden Palace for $28,000. She said she took one bite before she saw Mary in the sandwich! She made it with white bread and Land O Lakes cheese. No mayo! It has been stored in a box with packing around it for ten years and has no mold. When asked if it's brought her luck, she said she's won about $70K at casinos over the ten years, and now wants to "share" the sandwich with the public. She is not very religious... she is Baptist and only goes to church occasionally. Golden Palace is going to have the sandwich on display in Las Vegas.

Hey, I think I saw Buddha in my toast this morning! rolleyes.gif
