bad enough but could have been much worse. Sorry Lisa and Jack about your baby being all shook up! And of course you still managed to put pictures up for us even through your big mess! Thanks

Glad everyone is ok after the Hurricane.
We were in a really bad Hurricane in the Dominican Republic in 1998.
We had no electricty or water, the roof of the bar and restaurant caved in, a tree uprooted and landed in the swimming pool and hundreds were killed.
We got flown to another part of the island after 2 days.
It still doesn't put me off wanting to move to Florida.
All I need is a job offer and I will be there
So if anybody knows of any Sales Vacancies in Florida Pllllease let me know.

Fortunately for me I escaped every bit of nasty weather and only had brilliant days of sunshine. However, I was concerned for those I know from this site who reside in Florida particularly and am very relieved to hear that they are 'unscathed' so to speak.
Good to be back 'home' safe in Oz and 'talking to ya' again.
(Thanks for the welcome back Jacky - I saw it)

So very glad that you are OK! You guys amaze me with how calm you stayed. Even though I live in earthquake country, hurricanes scare me more.
Here's praying that Ivan misses you guys.
Hugs and wishing you a quick storm recovery.

Thank you for those who felt concern for me/us! Though there occured a gigantic earthquake and many typhoons in Japan, I'm fine. September is "a typhoon month", so we still need the precaution.
Hope everyone here is fine, too, as usual.

Jack, I have a great idea! You move over here with Kevin and I will move in with Lisa.
Think of all the things we could do, go shopping, go sunbathing, talk Solid Perfumes all day!!

Meanwhile Jack, any news you have on IVAN would be appreciated. My niece and family are leaving here on Monday for Miami and I am worried about them. My relatives still have no telephone.................
Any news would be appreciated although I am checking the Hurricane Warning Website!

Now it looks like it's the west coast of FL turn for winds etc.
Anyone wanting or needing to track the storm can check the noaa.gov website. They have live radr images, loops and all kinds of interesting things on the site.
God Bless & Keep everyone,
