Ann, I thught you would have loved his name it gives Ken an excuse to buy it an it would then go with both collections

I will be sure to point that out to him--NOT.
Ken has thousands of trains and recently got some from Switzerland that he is busy adding more swiss cars to.
Maybe when he finishes he can start down the cartoon train road.

I agree with the statement about the Harrods Post Box, but thought I had this opinion because I live here.
I know if I went to Saks on fifth ave and they had a solid with their name on it (like the bag) I would want it! So I suppose EL think they win both ways.
They capture tourists in London and Solid perfume collectors also! (not silly are they) You can bet your bottom dollar every one is a sell out!
The bear is quite cute, but a few more sparkly bits would have been good!
Love the idea of the new poll at the top of this topic 10 out of 10 Lisa.
Also wanted to mention that the report and pictures from the convention were really excellent, I get sooo excited when I see the new pictures.
Will just have to buy the Strongwater Hummingbird and Bird Bath.
Is the Chair not happening now?
Right that's my lot for now.

At first look, I did think it was PJ's because of the stars on the sweater and hat. Tommy's hat reminds me of a old fashioned night cap.
The Strongwater chair is coming it must have been "misplaced" along with the tulip bouquet in Vegas.

The skates are to big for him I think

Mimi - you made me feel terrible. Here's this poor little Bear feeling awful and I said I didn't like him. Now I have to have him to help him get better!
Poor little thing.

I have just voted for Thomas I find him really very nice
Posted 16 June 2004 - 04:50 PM
I think Thomas is dressed for bed! I also agree with Margaret's comments!
The one thing you get with Harrods is 'LIMITED' . You know the market will not be flooded and these pieces will not be appearing all over the place. Only a certain number are produced and this makes them highly collectable. Can't be a bad thing can it?
So well done Harrods for producing some innovative pieces this year!
Also it's great to read varying views instead of just oooooooohs and aaaaaaaahs! At least it has kept my eyes glued to the postings when I have a trillion other things I should be doing right now!
Sandra, over and out!

LISA was the first one to suggest Rupert/Thomas was wearing pj's.
MARGARET was discussing good tat's and bad tat's.

Re: What Thomas is wearing.
I kind of think maybe he is matching all the other bears that are dressed to go outside, but if you want him to go to bed that's fine by me.
I will just bring the others in from the cold and do a bedtime scene
